Building Bridges: Dr. Samir Suhail Joins Syrian-Emirati Business Women’s Council Launch
On a day filled with optimism and
energy, the Syrian-Emirati Council for Business Women was officially launched
in Dubai—a platform dedicated to empowering women, encouraging collaboration,
and fostering shared prosperity. In attendance was Dr. Samir Suhail, physician
entrepreneur and healthcare investor, who brought not only his expertise but
also his encouragement to the women leading this initiative.
Dr. Suhail described his presence at
the event as an honor, recognizing the significance of women’s economic
empowerment. “I
was invited today, and honored to attend,” he said. “Collaboration,
joint projects, and business activities are vital to bringing countries closer
together.”
His message was personal and
empathetic, acknowledging the challenges Syria has faced while also
highlighting the UAE’s supportive environment. “The UAE has everything Syria
needs—from technology to services. If a country like Syria wants to grow, it
can look to the UAE’s expertise,” he added.
For Dr. Suhail, the launch
represented more than a business initiative. It was about creating spaces where
women can thrive, be recognized, and contribute meaningfully to society’s
progress. This aligns with his own philosophy in healthcare: that empowerment
and dignity are as important as professional success.
The Council’s launch served as a reminder that true progress comes when voices once underrepresented are given platforms to lead. For attendees, including Dr. Suhail, it was a moment to affirm that collaboration and compassion are as essential to business as strategy and investment.
